Deconstruction of a Villain's lair.

I looked at Bane's lair in the third Batman movie, the dark knight rises, to see how a villain's lair may be laid out to show how they display their thoughts and the appearance of the character through the room they spend a lot of their time in.

Bane's lair is displayed with very low lighting and the main lighting is shown as the lamps and bulbs in the background over his bed and work.

This allow the audience to not see much and keeps a sense of suspicion for the audience but still allows them to see what they need to see in the villain''s lair.
The majority of the things displayed in the lair are not pictures or paper which may be seen in other films but there are screens and boxes embedded into the walls.

This gives the lair more of a technological feel to the lair and instead of everything being on display it is almost hidden to allow the audience to wonder what the villain may be hiding.

This could be some good information to us as a group as we may want to consider the lighting we will want to use for our killer's lair and also how we will display the information the killer has. If we either want it on display or like this scene if we want some of it hidden in boxes, cupboards or draws that could be shown of just that or inside as well.
